Product Use - Azfasst Green Tea Gel

How do I use Azfasst Gel?
Apply a pea-sized amount of Azfasst Gel to your entire face with your fingertips after cleansing. Make sure your face is completely dry prior to applying Azfasst Gel. If your skin tends to be more oily, you may apply twice daily. If you have drier skin or if you are applying Azfasst Gel during the winter months, you may apply once daily. Slight burning/tingling of skin may occur after Azfasst Gel application but should only last a few seconds. If you experience prolonged discomfort, discontinue use.
When and in what sequence of my daily skin care routine should I apply Azfasst Gel?

Women
For once daily use: In the morning, wash your face with your cleanser, thoroughly dry your face, apply pea-sized amount of Azfasst Gel with your finger tips to your entire face, briefly allow to dry, apply moisturizer, and then make up if desired.
For twice daily use: Use in the morning as noted above. Additionally, in the evening, wash your face with your cleanser, thoroughly dry your face, apply a pea-sized amount of Azfasst Gel with your finger tips to your entire face, briefly allow to dry, and then apply moisturizer if desired.

Men
For men who wish to use Azfasst Gel in similar fashion as their current After-Shave product: Shave your face in your usual manner/routine, rinse, thoroughly dry, apply Azfasst Gel and then moisturizer if desired.
For once daily use: In the morning, wash your face with your cleanser, thoroughly dry your face, apply pea-sized amount of Azfasst Gel with your finger tips to your entire face, briefly allow to dry, and apply moisturizer if desired.
For twice daily use: Use in the morning as noted above. Additionally, in the evening, wash your face with your cleanser, thoroughly dry your face, apply a pea-sized amount of Azfasst Gel with your finger tips to your entire face, briefly allow to dry, and then apply moisturizer if desired.
Is it normal to have some redness/irritation after using Azfasst Gel?
Mild redness/irritation and or slight burning sensation may occur initially when starting to use Azfasst Gel. This is usually due to the effects of lactic and salicylic acids working to exfoliate your skin and help unclog pores. If you tend to have more sensitive skin (i.e. if you have had a lot of trouble with the use of other skin care products in the past), you may want to start using Azfasst Gel once every other day and increase usage to once daily and possibly twice daily as your skin becomes accustomed to your new skin care regiment. If you experience significant redness, irritation/discomfort after using Azfasst Gel, discontinue use and then consult a doctor.
Do I use Azfasst Gel in place of my current moisturizer or in addition to?
Azfasst Gel should be used in addition to moisturizer, applied to the face after cleansing, but before applying moisturizer and make up.
Is Azfasst Gel a facial wash or should it be applied as a toner?
Azfasst Gel is not a facial wash or toner; it is a clear facial gel that is applied to the face after cleansing and before moisturizer. We recommend using our new facial cleanser, Azfasst Greem Tea Cleanser, and facial moisturizer, Azfasst Green Tea Moisturizer as part of your skin care routine.
I have dry skin; how many times a day should I apply Azfasst Gel?
If your skin tends to be dry, apply Azfasst Gel just once a day to your face after cleansing, allow it to dry, and then apply your facial moisturizer.
I have oily skin; how many times a day should I apply Azfasst Gel?
If your skin tends to be oily, it may be applied twice daily.
Is Azfasst Gel safe for sensitive skin?
Azfasst Gel is designed for all skin types. However, if you should experience any sensitivity or irritation using Azfasst Gel, you should discontinue use.
Can I use Azfasst Gel if I am currently using retinoid or glycolic products?
It is not recommended to apply Azfasst Gel simultaneously with retinoid or glycolic products. Those should be applied at a different time of day. For example, apply Azfasst Gel to the face in the morning after cleansing; apply retinoid or glycolic products at night.
How soon should I see results when using Azfasst Gel?
Most people see results within 7-10 days.
What ingredients are in Azfasst Gel?
Lactic Acid 6%, Salicylic Acid 3%, Distilled Water, Ethanol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Green Tea Extract.
What makes Azfasst Gel unique?
Azfasst Gel was developed by an experienced board certified dermatologist (an expert skin care physician) for use by both men and women of all skin types. Azfasst Gel contains a unique combination of three key ingredients: Salicylic acid, lactic acid, and green tea. Salicylic and lactic acids encourage the gentle exfoliation of the skin to unclog pores, diminish oil and decrease pore size. They increase skin cell turnover to reveal a healthier glow to the skin and provide facial rejuvenation. Azfasst Gel also contains natural green tea extract to provide an anti-inflammatory and an antioxidant benefit. The anti-inflammatory component minimizes irritation and redness to soothe and heal stressed skin. The antioxidant component improves the tone and texture of sun- damaged skin.
Does Azfasst Gel get rid of wrinkles?
Although not a substitute for a face lift, many of our customers have commented on the tightening and firming of their skin with the regular use of Azfasst Gel therefore improving the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
Do you recommend specific moisturizers to use with Azfasst Gel?
Recommended moisturizers to use along with Azfasst Gel are our new Azfasst Green Tea Moisturizer, Oil of Olay moisturizer, Neutrogena facial moisturizer, or Aveeno facial moisturizer.
Does Azfasst Gel cause sensitivity to the sun?
The ingredients in Azfasst Gel can cause sun sensitivity. If you are exposed to the sun while using Azfasst Gel, it is recommended that you use a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher.
Will Azfasst Gel reduce brown spots from sun damage?
The green tea extract in Azfasst Gel has been shown to improve brown spots associated with sun damaged skin. The lactic acid component exfoliates dead skin cells to brighten and smooth the skin.
Is Azfasst Gel safe for darker skin tones?
Azfasst is designed for all skin types, regardless of your natural skin tone or ethnicity.
Will Azfasst Gel bleach or lighten my natural skin tone?
Azfasst Gel does not contain any ingredients that are known to bleach or lighten your natural skin color.
Does Azfasst Gel cure blemishes, pimples or zits?
Azfasst Gel is not a drug or medication and it is not meant to treat or cure any particular skin condition. Azfasst Gel is designed to improve your overall skin health and improve the quality, texture and appearance of your face to make it as smooth, clear and soft as it can naturally be.
Is Azfasst Gel greasy or oily?
Not at all. Azfasst Gel is oil-free and contains no artificial fragrances, parabens, petroleum or mineral oil.
What if my skin gets irritated after using Azfasst Gel?
Discontinue use. If irritation persists after discontinuing use, then consult a doctor.
Is Azfasst Gel FDA approved?
Azfasst Gel is not a drug. It is a cosmetic product and is not required to go through the FDA approval process. However, Azfasst follows the FDA guidelines for cosmetic products and is manufactured in an FDA-approved facility subject to FDA standards for cosmetic products. Azfasst was tested on numerous individuals with different skin types prior to being manufactured for general public use.

Who makes Azfasst products? How do I know they're safe?
Azfasst skin care products were created and are distributed by Anne Riordan, M.D., a board certified dermatologist with expertise in treating numerous skin conditions. She has been practicing medicine for over 15 years and has treated over 20,000 patients with diseases of the skin. Dr. Riordan designed Azfasst products to be safe for all users and would provide noticeable benefits in skin health and appearance.
Are Azfasst products safe to use during pregnancy?
Although, as a general rule, there is less systemic absorption with topical products (products used on skin surfaces) than with products that are taken orally, we still recommend checking with your health care provider before using Azfasst during pregnancy. We have included an ingredient list in this FAQ section so that your doctor can review the individual ingredients in Azfasst Gel, Cleanser and/or Moisturizer and deem whether you may use Azfasst products while pregnant.

Payment and Shipping

How much do Azfasst products cost?
Azfasst Gel, Cleanser, and Moisturizer sells for $19.99 per 2 ounce bottle, plus $5.00 shipping and handling. If you live in Missouri, a sales tax of 7.425% will also apply. There is no applicable sales tax if the product is shipped to a destination outside the state of Missouri.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover to pay for your purchase. You may also pay by check or money order. Simply send your order information and payment to 16514 Manchester Road, St. Louis, MO 63040. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for your order to process after we receive your payment. You should typically receive your order within 10-20 days from the time you mail us your check or money order.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Most orders paid by credit card will arrive within 5-7 business days after placing your order. (If you pay by check or money order, please allow up to 20 days to receive your order from the time you mail us your payment.)
I am in the St. Louis area; can I pick up Azfasst products at your office and save on shipping?
Azfasst products may be purchased at the office of Dr. Anne Riordan at 16516 Manchester Rd., Wildwood, MO, 63040 if you wish to avoid shipping charges.
I placed my order, but have not received it yet. Why?
If you do not receive your order in about 5-7 business days from the purchase date, the following may be why:
You exited out of your browser while the order was processing. -- If you close out of your browser before you see the confirmation that your order has been placed, our database may not record your order, therefore it will not be processed for shipping.
Your credit card was not approved. -- You may have placed your order, but if your credit card was not approved within our Payment Gateway, your order was not processed/shipped.
Will I get a mailed copy of my invoice with my order?
In an effort to go Green and help preserve our environment and reduce paper waste, we do not routinely send paper invoices with your order. Once orders are successfully placed on our website, we email a copy of the invoice to the email address provided at the time of check out. You may wish to print the invoice or simply save the email for your records. The shipping label placed on the outside of your order will list your order number along with number of bottles in the package. Many companies are currently following the Green initiative and we want our company to be on the forefront of this movement as well.

What if I am not satisfied with the results?
You can return the bottle of Azfasst (Gel, Moisturizer, or Cleanser) within 30 days of placing your order for any reason, even if it is empty, and you will receive a full, one-time refund for the price of the product - plus any applicable sales taxes less shipping and handling. If multiple bottles (of the same product) were purchased at the same time, the refund is limited to the purchase price of a single bottle plus any applicable sales taxes for the one bottle less shipping and handling. If any discounts were applied at the time of purchase, the refund will be adjusted accordingly to reflect the portion of returned item (i.e. if only one bottle of a three bottle "Set" is returned or if only one bottle of the two bottle "Set" is returned, the refund will be proportional to 1/3 or 1/2 of the total price paid for the respective "Set" purchased - plus any applicable sales taxes less shipping and handling). The 3 bottle Azfasst "Set" includes 1 bottle each of the Gel, Moisturizer, and Cleanser. The 2 bottle Azfasst "Set" includes 1 bottle each of the Moisturizer and Cleanser. There is a limit of one refund per person or household. The mailing address for returns is: 16514 Manchester Road, St. Louis, MO 63040.
Are Azfasst products available to purchase anywhere else on-line?
Yes, you may also purchase Azfasst products at www.amazon.com.
Do you sell smaller or larger sizes of Azfasst products?
Azfasst products are only available in standard 2 ounce bottles.
Can I get free samples of Azfasst products?
We currently do not offer free samples.
Do you offer wholesale opportunities?
We do offer wholesale opportunities for resale of our product in stores/salons. Minimum order of 500 bottles required to qualify for wholesale pricing.
